John Rodgers — Associate Partner


With experience as an industry executive, management consultant, and entrepreneur, John brings a unique perspective to his clients – an understanding of how to balance a strategic understanding of a business’ context with tactical recommendations to ensure tangible results. With all of John’s work, his primary focus is on helping organizations see tangible benefits – so that they ultimately see results, not just reports.


John has advised companies across the retail, consumer package goods, financial services, and telecommunications industry segments, and has consulted to executives in large organizations, as well as small start-ups. His clients have included Wal-Mart, Sears, Office Depot, Pepsi, Equifax, and MCI.  He also has retail management experience, both at the store and corporate buying office level, and owns a franchised retail business.


As a consultant, John has helped clients grow their businesses through work in strategy; customer and market assessments, including customer analysis, segmentation, market sizing, and in-depth market research; online customer experience design and usability testing; competitive analysis; financial analysis and opportunity modeling; and operations best practices.

Prior to joining Hudson Chesapeake Ltd, John worked with Accenture Consulting and Sears.


John received his MBA with honors from the Wharton School with a dual major in Marketing and Strategic Management, and a BA from the University of Virginia.
